2.1 Works on Monuments dating after 1830
Concerns individuals, enterprises and government bodies, owners or possessors of buildings that are designated as monuments built after 1830 and more than 100 years ago, who wish to preform activities of restoration / reparation, or make installments in the exterior design of the existing building.

2.2 Preparation of the Works on Ancient Monuments or Archaeological Site/ Historic Place or Modern Religious Monument
Concerns the submission of studies concerning works on ancient monuments or archeological sites or historical places or modern religious monuments, in order to be approved by the services of the Ministry.
2.3 Assent on the Execution of Works on an Ancient Monument or Archaeological Site by a third-party
Concerns individuals, enterprises and government bodies who wish to preform works in an archeological site or monument independently, following an approval by the Ministry. The application for the execution of works is submitted based either on pre-existing studies or on studies under the process of approval (or is conducted in cooperation with the competent Regional Service).
2.4 Monument Designation
Concerns individuals, enterprises and government bodies who have in their ownership, their rightful ownership or in their possession property built after 1830 and request its designation by the Ministry as monument. The proposal for designation can also be initiated voluntarily by the services of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, for instance in the case of a religious building.
The designation may concern movable monuments related to a specific use of the building, or uses that are permitted to its owner, rightful owner, or possessor, as well as the surrounding area or parts of it.
2.5 Expropriation – Direct Acquisition of Property by Bodies in favor of the Greek State
Concerns entities that conduct systematic archeological investigations according to article 36 of Law 3028/02 and intend to perform at their own expense direct acquisition of a property/expropriation of land in favor of the Greek State with by the State.
2.6 Protection of a Dilapidated Monument
Concerns individuals and private or public legal entities, owners of properties designated as monuments dating after 1453, that have been seriously damaged and are in high risk of collapse, in order to examine the possibilities of restoration and define necessary direct measures to be adopted.
